We’re approaching the end of the season, with just a few matches left.

The final TVB match is on Monday, away to Maidenhead A.

The final TVA match is on Wednesday 8 May, away to Surbiton A. There’s also a cup final to be arranged, but at present I have no information about the impending semi-final between Kingston and Hammersmith.

Our LL team play Battersea 1 on 15 May. This will be our last match as Drunken Knights 2 have withdrawn from the League.

So some of you will be looking for tournaments to play in.

There’s a Richmond Rapidplay this coming Sunday, 28 April, at Orleans Park School, Twickenham. It would be great to see a lot of our members supporting this local event.

We also ought to think about entering the London Summer Chess League. If you’re interesting in running a team please let me know.
