Monday’s puzzle (White to play (Obers – Koster Capelle aan den IJssel 1992-93)) was again taken from Zlotnik’s Treasure Trove (New in Chess 2023).

I’m sure you worked out that 27. hxg5?? gxf2+ 28. Kf1 Bg2+! was winning for Black.

I hope you also saw that White can turn the tables in spectacular fashion: 27. Qg8+!! Kxg8 (if Black takes with the rook, White can take the queen at once) 28. Bc4!+ Kh8 29. hxg5! and now White’s winning because he has the e2 square available for his king.
