The first results of the 2023-24 season are in!

We kicked off with a Thames Valley Division 3 match between Richmond C and Richmond D, which resulted in a win for the C team by 5 points to 1.

Over the last few years we’ve been running teams in the Surrey competitions mainly to provide opportunities for our less experienced players, but last season we gained promotion to Division 3, known as the Ellam Trophy.

Our campaign started with a visit to Surbiton 2, and in a match between two evenly matched teams, our greater strength on the top boards proved decisive and we were able to score a narrow victory: an excellent start to the season.
