In a quiet week, just the one match to report, in Division 1 of the London League, where we were up against Lewisham 1.
Here’s what happened.

Not our greatest performance, but at least we managed to get over the line, thanks to wins from Gavin, Conor, Caspar and Alastair, along with a draw from Martin.
This result puts us up to third place in the table, with two matches to play.

Our final matches are against bottom team Kings Head 1 next month and mid-table Cavendish 1 in June. As Lewisham 1 are extremely unlikely to win all their remaining matches (including against Hammersmith), wins in both those matches will be enough for 3rd place behind Wood Green and Hammersmith, the Celtic and Rangers of the London Chess League.
