Welcome to the Richmond & Twickenham Chess Club website.
Our new venue is the Cambridge Park Bowls & Sports Club, Cambridge Park, Twickenham TW1 2PG on Thursday evenings from 7:30 to 10:30. We offer match play in local leagues, social chess, instruction and a variety of special events. Further information here.
We offer a warm welcome to players of all ages and strengths, from beginners to grandmasters. Do come and join us any Tuesday, or Thursday from April onwards, for a game.

We run online communities on two chess platforms. The former link is not very active at present but when there is sufficient demand we run tournaments on Wednesday evenings on lichess. We encourage all members and friends to join in.
