As we approach the end of the season, just one match result to report.

Our TVC team completed a torrid season in Division 2 with a return encounter with Kingston B.

Another good performance in a match where we were, as expected, heavily outrated on every board. An outstanding win for Barry, and creditable draws from Peter (against a Scottish Senior International) and Mike gave us two points.

With only three divisions in the main Thames Valley League there’s a big discrepancy in strength between them. Our C team will be much happier back in Division 3 next season.

Just five matches to go now: our London League team has one more match, while our Thames Valley A and B teams have two each, with our TVA team visiting Maidenhead A on Monday.
